Will my insurance pay for surgery?
Most insurance companies now cover Bariatric surgery. Your plan deductible, co-insurance and out of pocket expenses will apply.
We will verify your insurance benefits before you proceed in our program. Or you can call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask if your employer chose Bariatric surgery as an option for weight loss.
After you have attended one of our seminars and have submitted an insurance form, our insurance verifier will call for the details on your policy. In general, most insurance companies cover Bariatric surgery. You will know what your financial obligation will be before you see a surgeon.
We accept most insurance.
There are very few insurance plans we don’t accept. Most insurance companies now cover Bariatric surgery. Your plan deductible, co-insurance and out of pocket expenses will apply. Per our program policy, state aid insurance is accepted as a secondary insurance only.
What should I bring to the seminar? To the first office visit?
Bring your insurance card with you to the seminar, so that you have the proper ID numbers for our insurance verifier.
Bring a photo ID, your insurance card, your Medical and Diet history forms and current medication list, form of payment/co-payment if applicable, to your first surgeon’s appointment.
